Take Technologies ("Take", "we", "us") operates the Take ride-hailing and mobility platform in Cameroon. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile apps, website, and related services.

• Account details: name, phone number, email, and profile information.
• Location data: pickup and drop-off points, trip routes, and device location during active rides.
• Payment information: mobile money references, transaction history, and wallet balances.
• Driver verification: identity documents, licences, vehicle papers, and KYC review status.
• Communications: in-app chat, support messages, and push notification tokens.

We use your data to match riders with drivers, calculate fares in XAF, process payments, improve safety, prevent fraud, comply with applicable laws in Cameroon, and provide customer support.

We may share limited data with payment partners, cloud infrastructure providers, and authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain information as long as your account is active or as needed for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. We apply technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls on production systems.
